Roman streets and buildings uncovered during metro construction, open to walk through at the Largo.
Sofia sits on top of the Roman city of Serdica. When the metro was built, archaeologists uncovered streets, houses and an early church, now preserved in the open around the Serdika metro station. You can walk through it at street level and below, for free.
