Park Borisova Gradina

Sofia's best-loved park: long avenues of trees, lawns, ponds and quiet corners.

The oldest and largest park in central Sofia, laid out from the 1880s. Its long, shaded avenues make it easy to add a couple of calm kilometres to a walk, and there are cafés near the lakes.
